Some of our favourite ways to use the table...

• Read a story aloud and ask the children to point to the face they think the main character is feeling. 
• Emotion Charades. Children pick a face and act out that emotion (without words!) Their classmates then guess which one they picked. 
• Emotion Snap. Using an additional resource like Emotion Cards, select a card and match it to the emotion on the table. If there's no clear match, have a discussion about what the feeling means and what other emotions it's similar to.
