Hi. I’m Tamara and I am the founder, creative director and crafts person of MooAngel.
I have combined my passions for children learning through their play along with my love for my family, craft and woodwork.
With over 20 years teaching and headship experience I have seen the school environments in which children thrive. Nurturing environments where children are encouraged to become independent learners , are able to work things out, solve problems, negotiate ideas and testing own theories & thinking. These skills begin in the early stages of childhood and where they are fostered, this is where children thrive.
I have worked with children as young as two years old up to eighteen years old. Something that they all have in common is their love of play. Adolescent young people won’t admit this but take away electronic devices and you see their child hood coming back! In today’s technological society the importance of play cannot be forgotten.
As I embark on the journey of MooAngel, I intend to explore the wonderful practise that is out there, research, explore findings on early years, play and outdoor education. Feel free to join me in this through your comments.
